Are you VAT registered?

  • No, I’m not. Therefore all my prices are not subject to VAT.

What equipment do you use? 

  • For my work I use Nikon pro grade equipment and dependant on the event will carry at least two camera bodies, two flashguns, spare batteries and selection of zoom and prime lenses.

Image usage rights and copyright?

  • Clients are free to use photographs for editorial, marketing, PR and in-house purposes, in print and electronic media channels worldwide with no time restrictions. Copyright to the photographs remain with Thompson Urhiofe Photography.

What’s your turnaround time?

  • Edited photos are usually delievered within 2-3 working days.

How do we receive our photos?

  • I deliver photos electronically via Google Drive, WeTransfer or straight to your server via FTP. Images will be delivered in hi-res ready for print.

What’s the best way to pay you for the job?

  • The best way to pay is a bank transfer before the final delivery of the images.
How do I book a photography session with you?

How far in advance should I book my session?

It’s recommended to book your session as early as possible to ensure availability, especially for peak season events. Typically, a few weeks to a few months in advance is sufficient. Last minute bookings will be taken upon availability so feel free to enquire about your event date.

How long does a typical session last?

A portrait session length can vary depending on the type of session and specific client needs. A portrait session typically lasts 1-2 hours, while event photography can range from a few hours to a full day. My rates are hourly to ensure your event is capture during the most important times.

Could you stay if we need you for longer?

I generally arrive 10-15 minutes early and will be happy to stay an extra 10-15 minutes to capture last minute photos however if the event is running behind by more than 30 minutes then I’ll invoice per hour for the extra time.

What’s your turnaround time?

My turnaround time varies depending on the type and scope of the service requested. I strive to complete your work as quickly as possible without compromising quality, and will provide you with an estimated turnaround time when you make your request. A general guideline is:

  • Weddings: 4-8 weeks
  • Portraits: 1-2 weeks
  • Private events:  2-4 days
How many photos do I get from a booking?

The number of photos varies depending on the length of the session and the type of photography, but typically clients can expect:

Portrait photography: 20-30 images for a 1 hour shoot
Weddings: 500-800 images for a 10 hour day
Private events: Roughly 50 images per hour of the event
